Dr. Alexa Dembek is the Chief Technology & Sustainability Officer for DuPont. Today, Alexa leads business, innovation and sustainability strategy alignment to make the most impactful portfolio choices for DuPont. She is passionate about elevating the role sustainability plays in guiding investment and growth decisions. Through her leadership, Alexa established DuPont’s 2030 Sustainability Goals ensuring sustainability is embedded in the company’s enterprise-wide strategy for long-term growth and value creation.
Alexa joined DuPont as a research chemist and a technical manager, with increasing levels of responsibility in innovation, supply chain, operations, sales and marketing. She held business leadership positions in Advanced Fibers Systems, Building Innovations and Performance Polymers. In addition, she served as Global Business Director for the corporate new business development venture in Energy Storage and led the company’s Central Research and Development function before being named to her current role.
Both in her work for DuPont and her personal endeavors, Alexa is a passionate champion of talent development and mentorship for the next generation of innovators. Through her involvement in education initiatives, she creates opportunity through diverse, cross-generational collaboration. Since June 2021, she serves on the Board of Directors for CoorsTek. In addition, she serves on the dean’s advisory board for Penn State’s Eberly College of Science, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Delaware Innovation Space, the Board of Trustees for Hagley Museum and Library. She also received the Penn State Eberly College of Science Outstanding Science Alumni Award in 2015 and the Penn State Outstanding Alumni Fellow Award in 2020.

Uwe Wagner (born in 1964) studied mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart. His key areas of study were real-time data processing/control technology, and precision engineering and microtechnology.
In 1993, he started his career as a development engineer in the field of control hydraulics automatic transmissions at LuK, which was co-founded by the Schaeffler brothers in 1965. In the following years, Uwe Wagner held various management positions. In these positions he implemented numerous new product developments and volume production start-ups together with his departments.
In 2007, he took over the management of the Transmission Technologies business unit and was in charge of products for automatic transmissions from the product lines torque converters, CVT and double clutch systems, including actuators and software. Mr. Wagner’s tasks included the development of the skills and structures necessary for the technology areas of system development and mechatronics. With numerous concept and product developments, such as the first Schaeffler hybrid clutch, he and his team paved the way for research and development activities in e-mobility.
Uwe Wagner became a member of the Managing Board of Automotive when he took over the position of Head of Research and Development Automotive in 2014. Two years later he also held this position for the Industrial division.
In October 2019, Mr. Wagner assumed the position of Chief Technology Officer at the Schaeffler Group.

Ana Kljuic holds a PhD and post-doc in Genetics and Dermatology from Columbia University. During her career at L’Oréal, she has become a cosmetic expert with demonstrated skills in consumer products, product development, research, innovation and Life Science. As the leader for R&I of L’Oréal’s sustainability program “L’Oréal for the Future”, her mission is now to guide the R&I teams towards the achievement of the Group’s 2030 sustainability commitments in order to promote high-performance formulations inspired by nature and respectful of planetary boundaries.
Ana joined L’Oréal in 2004 as part of the accelerated management program R&D Explorer. During the past 18 years, she had the opportunity to pioneer many topics and gain experience in all divisions of the Group. She directed the Natural & Organic Métier from 2013 to 2017. In 2020, she created the R&I Emerging Markets Hub, aiming at achieving a better understanding of consumers in India, South Africa, and Brazil, in order to foster inclusive innovation at L’Oréal. Jayshree Seth is a Corporate Scientist at 3M and currently holds 76 patents for a variety of innovations, with several additional pending. She joined 3M in 1993 after an MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University, New York. She is a Distinguished Alumni Award recipient from her alma mater REC Trichy India, now NIIT Trichy, where she earned a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering.
Jayshree was appointed 3M’s first ever Chief Science Advocate in 2018 and is using her scientific knowledge, technical expertise and professional experience to advance science and communicate the benefits of science and the importance of diversity in STEM fields. She is also a member of Carlton Society which is the 3M Science and Engineering “Hall of Fame.” Jayshree is the fourth woman and first female engineer to be inducted. In 2020, she was awarded Society of Women Engineers (SWE) highest Achievement Award. She is also the first-ever winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the new Female Thought Leaders of the Year – category in the 18th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business in 2021. Professor Parry joined Cranfield University in 2002 as a Research Fellow within the Human Resource Research Centre. She has a PhD from Cranfield and an MSc in Applied (Occupational) Psychology, also from Cranfield. Professor Parry is the author of Managing People in a Contemporary Context (Routledge) and editor of six other books.
Professor Parry is Head of the Changing World of Work Group. She is a recognised expert in Human Resource Management (HRM) and plays a leading role in a number of global research projects in this area. These include Cranet, a worldwide network of over 40 business schools that conducts comparative HRM research, and 5C, a global research project involving around 30 academic institutions, examining cultural and age differences in attitudes towards careers.
Professor Parry's research interests relate to the impact of the changing external context on managing people. In particular, she undertakes research on the influence of technological advancement, age demographics and generational diversity, and national context. Professor Parry has also undertaken a large number of research projects in relation to human capability within defence.
Professor Parry is Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Human Resource Management (IJHRM). She is also the Series Editor for the book series The Changing Context of Managing People (Emerald). She is also currently President of the Executive DBA Council (EDBAC), and an elected member of the British Academy of Management (BAM) Council.
Professor Parry is a Fellow of the British Academy of Management and an Honorary Fellow for the Institute for Employment Studies, as well as a Visiting Research Fellow at Westminster Business School. She is also an Academic Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
