SPACE10 a Future Living Lab on a mission to design for better and more sustainable ways of living

SPACE10 is set up in collaboration with Inter IKEA Group as a lab, supporting them in gaining new perspectives, discover new opportunities, and above all find new ways of fulfilling their overall vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people. They do not look for incremental improvements of IKEA’s current business but rather look at the big, complicated challenges in the world of today and come up with new ideas and solutions for tomorrow. At SPACE10 you will be introduced to their Framework while getting a guided tour through their lab in the Copenhagen Meatpacking district. .

BLOXHUB Urban Innovation Hub

BLOXHUB is an urban innovation hub that brings together companies, organizations, and researchers to co-create solutions for better cities. It is founded on the belief that the challenges of global urbanization and climate change require a new collaborative approach and is set to be a Nordic launchpad for future urban solutions. With 550+ desks, BLOXHUB serves as a Co-Working Space, bridging architecture, design, construction, and digitization. At the venue, you will be able to see and get hands-on experience with a VR Lab, a VDC Lab, a Data Lab, and a Prototyping Lab.

BOXING FUTURE HEALTH A Future Lab for Health

A taste of the future: Listen, smell and explore the future of health, when the Danish Design Centre invites you to step in to the future and discover the next healthcare market, business models and collaborations in four plausible future scenarios. The future lab Boxing Future Health combines the methodologies of scenario-building and design to power a more collaborative and fruitful exploration of value across the private and the public sector. Through collaborative workshops the future lab invites leaders and innovators to experience and explore the consequences of alternative futures for their products, services, and business and governance models. The future lab is a result of more than 100 experts, designers and private companies’ and public organisations’ development and contribution.

UNDERBROEN Urban Maker Space

UNDERBROEN is tomorrow’s manufacturing workshop where traditional craftsmanship is combined with modern digital production technologies. It is a meeting place and facilitates new relations between Makers, businesses and organizations via an open source logic where the development of specific prototypes, products and innovation processes takes place. The UNDERBROEN team will show its various workshops from wood, metal and textile over 3D printing and laser cutting to electronics and explain the approach of the creative platform while guiding groups through the vibrant and creative facilities in the heart of Copenhagen.
