Stefan Stremersch holds the Desiderius Erasmus Distinguished Chair of Economics and the Chair in Marketing at the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE). Professor Stremersch's research is in the areas of innovation, marketing of technology and science, healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing, and international marketing. His research is largely situated in high technology markets (ICT, Telecom, consumer electronics, and video games) and pharmaceuticals, and led to published articles in the major scholarly journals including, among others, the International Journal of Research in Marketing, the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science and Management Science. Professor Stremersch has won several prestigious awards including the Harold H. Maynard Best Paper Award from the Journal of Marketing, the J.C. Uwe Wagner (born in 1964) studied mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart. His key areas of study were real-time data processing/control technology, and precision engineering and microtechnology.
In 1993, he started his career as a development engineer in the field of control hydraulics automatic transmissions at LuK, which was co-founded by the Schaeffler brothers in 1965. In the following years, Uwe Wagner held various management positions. In these positions he implemented numerous new product developments and volume production start-ups together with his departments.
In 2007, he took over the management of the Transmission Technologies business unit and was in charge of products for automatic transmissions from the product lines torque converters, CVT and double clutch systems, including actuators and software. Mr. Wagner’s tasks included the development of the skills and structures necessary for the technology areas of system development and mechatronics. With numerous concept and product developments, such as the first Schaeffler hybrid clutch, he and his team paved the way for research and development activities in e-mobility.
Uwe Wagner became a member of the Managing Board of Automotive when he took over the position of Head of Research and Development Automotive in 2014. Two years later he also held this position for the Industrial division.

Jayshree Seth is a Corporate Scientist at 3M and currently holds 76 patents for a variety of innovations, with several additional pending. She joined 3M in 1993 after an MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University, New York. She is a Distinguished Alumni Award recipient from her alma mater REC Trichy India, now NIIT Trichy, where she earned a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering.
Jayshree was appointed 3M’s first ever Chief Science Advocate in 2018 and is using her scientific knowledge, technical expertise and professional experience to advance science and communicate the benefits of science and the importance of diversity in STEM fields. She is also a member of Carlton Society which is the 3M Science and Engineering “Hall of Fame.” Jayshree is the fourth woman and first female engineer to be inducted. Chisara has over 20 years of experience helping companies understand the sustainability impacts of their sourcing strategies, and guiding them in building socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable supply chains. In her role as Senior Assurance Director with Field to Market Chisara led the design and implementation of Field to Market’s assurance processes and project-level guidance for measuring and reducing Scope 3 emissions in U.S. commodity crop production.
Prior to Field to Market, Chisara was the Vice President of Certification at Fair Trade USA where she created and implemented certification strategies for international food and agriculture supply chains to improve farmer and worker livelihoods, improve environmental outcomes, and increase transparency in sourcing. She also developed long-term growth strategies for the supply of Fair Trade products worldwide. Chisara designed procurement and supply chain management strategies across multiple industries as a consultant with AT Kearney and Accenture, and earlier in her career as an automotive procurement specialist.

Adrian Furnham will discuss how advances in AI, psychometric theory and analysis, as well changes in client demand has dramatically changed the previously rather “sleepy world” of selection and assessment.
